# How to Play Kokomo Pick'em: The Complete Guide

Pick'em is Kokomo's football prediction feature. Every matchweek, you predict the outcome of Premier League and FA Cup fixtures. Correct predictions earn you points. Points climb you up the weekly leaderboard. Top the leaderboard, win the weekly prize.

The Two Tabs: Picks and Scores
Pick'em has two separate prediction modes, each with its own tab and points structure.
Picks Tab
Predict the result of each match — home win, away win, or draw.
Points:
- Correct result: +3 points
- Incorrect guess: 0 points
Picks is the lower-risk tab. You don't need to nail the exact score, just the outcome. It's ideal if you have a strong read on which teams will win but don't want to commit to a specific scoreline.
Scores Tab
Predict the exact scoreline for each match.
Points:
- Correct result (right winner, wrong score): +3 points
- Exact score: +6 points
- Incorrect guess: 0 points
Scores is higher risk, higher reward. Nail the exact scoreline and you earn double the points. Even if your score is wrong but you called the winner correctly, you still earn 3 points — so there's a safety net.
Confidence Picks: Double Your Points
Every week you get two Confidence Picks — one for the Picks tab and one for the Scores tab.
Applying a Confidence Pick to a prediction doubles any points you earn from that guess.
How it works:
- Apply your Confidence Pick to your strongest prediction for that tab
- If correct: points are doubled (6 instead of 3 on Picks, 6 or 12 instead of 3 or 6 on Scores)
- If incorrect: still 0 points — confidence picks don't hurt you, they only amplify wins
The Weekly Leaderboard
Every week, your points across both tabs combine into a total score. That score places you on the weekly leaderboard against all other Pick'em players.
The weekly prize pool varies each week. Check the highlighted prize section in the app for the current week's prize before you submit your predictions.
Leaderboards reset each matchweek, so every week is a fresh start regardless of how the previous week went.
Leagues: Compete With Friends
Beyond the main leaderboard, Pick'em has a private leagues feature. Create or join a league to compete on a separate leaderboard with your own group.
Free Leagues:

Pro Leagues:
- League creator sets an entry fee
- All entry fees go into a prize pool
- Winner(s) of the private leaderboard take the pool

How to Get Started
Step 1: Go to play.kokomo.games
Step 2: Create your account or log in
Step 3: Navigate to Pick'em in the app
Step 4: Select the Picks tab and predict the result for each fixture
Step 5: Switch to the Scores tab and enter your predicted scorelines
Step 6: Apply your Confidence Picks to your strongest predictions on each tab
Step 7: Check the leaderboard throughout the matchweek and track your points
Tips for New Players
Do both tabs every week
Each tab has its own points contribution. Skipping one leaves points on the table. Even if you're not confident on exact scores, your result predictions on Picks still earn.
Don't overthink your Confidence Picks
Most players overthink this. Pick the fixture you feel strongest about, apply it, move on. A confident 3-point pick becomes 6. A correct exact score becomes 12. The upside is significant.
Check fixtures before the matchweek closes
Once a match kicks off, predictions lock. Make sure you've submitted everything before the first game of the week starts.
Use both tabs as a pair
Your Picks and Scores predictions don't have to match. You might predict a home win on Picks but predict a 1-0 scoreline on Scores for the same game. Each tab is independent.
Treat every matchweek as a reset
Don't carry baggage from a bad week. Leaderboards reset, so a poor week has no impact on your standing the following matchweek.
